Install instructions
====================

1. Install gPROMS using the following setup settings:
   -> Setup License Manager: "Use remote license server(s)"
   -> Specify one or more license server(s):
   Server 1: "12345@localhost"

2. Copy the included 'license.dat' to:
   C:\Program Files\PSE\gPROMS-core_3.5.3.54853\Licenses\License.dat
   (or to the place defined in your PSELMD_LICENSE_FILE environment variable)

3. Copy 'gSERVER.dll' and 'gmbnative.dll' over the originals located in:
   C:\Program Files\PSE\gPROMS-core_3.5.3.54853\bin\

4. Install the FlexLM license manager (FlexLM for PSE).
   Close LMTOOLS when it launches automatically.

5. Copy the included 'license_setup.bat', 'license.dat' and 'PSELMD.exe' to
   e.g. C:\Program Files\FLEXlm\bin\
   That's the folder where the LM exe's are located: lmgrd.exe, lmutil.exe, PSELMD.exe, ...

6. Run License_setup.bat to setup correctly the path to your license file.
   Alternatively, you can manually setup the path to the PSELMD license file:
   
   lmutil.exe lmpath -override PSELMD "C:\Program Files\PSE\gPROMS-core_3.5.3.54853\Licenses\License.dat"
   lmutil lmpath -status

7. OPTIONAL: Open a command-window in that folder (i.e. C:\Program Files\FLEXlm4PSE\bin\),
   and execute this command at the command line prompt, to start the LM server:
   lmgrd -z -c license.dat

Start gPROMS and have fun using it. :-)
