Heterogeneous Ferroelectric SolidSolutions: Phases and Domain States By Vitaly Yu. Topolov
2012 | 167 Pages | ISBN: 3642224822 | PDF | 3 MB
The book deals with perovskite-type ferroelectric solid solutions formodern materials science and applications, solving problems of complicatedheterophase/domain structures near the morphotropic phase boundary andapplications to various systems with morphotropic phases. In this book domainstate–interface diagrams are presented for the interpretation of heterophasestates in perovskite-type ferroelectric solid solutions. It allows to describethe stress relief in the presence of polydomain phases, the behavior ofunit-cell parameters of coexisting phases and the effect of external electricfields. The novelty of the book consists in (i) the first systematization ofdata about heterophase states and their evolution in ferroelectric solidsolutions (ii) the general interpretation of heterophase and domain structuresat changing temperature, composition or electric field (iii) the completeanalysis of interconnection domain structures, unit-cell parameters changes, heterophase structures and stress relief.
